This year Jeremy and I really wanted to get out of town for Memorial Day and camping seemed like a good idea! because of the cool weather we have been having many of the nearby campgrounds weren't open but we found one that was and we were pleasantly surprised and had a great time despite a little rain! We got to the camp ground early Friday evening and were able to set up the tent and make our spot look all spiffy! Yay!
Our friends, the Shelby's, came up to stay with us for two of the three nights and Sarah and Heath came up for dinner on Sunday! I don't know if you can tell in some of the pictures but there was a large pine tree that had fallen down right by where we pitched our tent and the camp host said to burn as much as we wanted... so, we spent a lot of time doing this...

It was very fun and relaxing and now everything smells VERY smoky! It was exciting up to the last morning when we woke up to THIS!! (As a side note we saw 2 moose which must be the sign of a good camp-out!)
